The Automatic keyboard builds a keyboard on the fly on the ECR by selecting all the products contained in a Department. Multiple pages can be displayed by using the page up and page down buttons on the V-R if there are more products than can fit on the screen. It is not possible to mix buttons sizes or use message boxes on Automatic layouts.
1.In the Type drop down list select Automatic.
2.Keys Layout. There are five options in the Keys Layout control. The first one, Automatic, will display the products in the biggest size possible. The remaining four options fix the key size that will be used when generating the keyboard (3 x 5, 4 x 8, 5 x 8, 6 x 6) . The Department link is added though the keyboard Programming screen.
3.Once a template has been set up it is then possible to copy to other levels by selecting an item level in the Copy To drop down list and clicking the Copy button.
