Wastage is used to record stock that is no longer salable but will affect the profitability of the stock ingredients. It is important to record wastage so when a stock discrepancy occurs it is possible to see if it is wastage or stock loses.
Press the Add New Wastage button this will take you to the wastage screen. If there is more than one stock area Select the stock outlet from the drop down box. Add the stock items/Ingredients using the search facility and press the Add button to add items. Enter the quantity of stock units and the reason they are no longer salable.
Once the order has been saved select the order by clicking on the Code then press the Accept button to process the wastage and deduct the stock.
