When you create a ‘Stock Item’, the UI presented for ‘Add New PLU’ has extra fields at the bottom of the screen for entering stock details. This is relevant only for sites that subscribe to the ‘Stock Control’ module.
When ‘Add’ is clicked, the current values for ‘Buying Unit’, ‘Count Unit’, ‘Recipe Unit’ and ‘Default Supplier’ are retained. The values for ‘Buying Cost’ and ‘Supplier Ref No’ are cleared. The focus moves to the ‘Name’ field ready for the user to enter the next new PLU name.
