ERA 2.1 supports the use of the V-R Scheduler to control Mix & Match offers. This means that you can configure an offer to turn on and off using a very flexible system of time, date and period settings. For example, the following configurations are now easy to set up in the Cloud if you are using ERA 2.1 or higher:

- An offer starts at 17:00 and finishes at 19:00 EVERY DAY

- An offer is active all day MONDAY ONLY

- An offer is active for between two specified DATES ONLY

- An offer is active on the first day of EVERY MONTH

- Many more combinations are possible...

Once these configurations have been set up and loaded on the V-R, the Scheduler takes care of the rest, turning the offers on and off as appropriate.

Note: If you want to override a Schedule for a Mix & Match offer temporarily, you can do this on the till by using a System clerk to go to the 'REGISTER' tab and tapping the 'Mix&Match' icon. You can then tick/untick individual Mix & Match offers to enable or disable them. The next scheduled event for that offer will still kick in when scheduled but this does allow you to, for example, temporarily stop an offer easily (e.g. if you have run out of stock).

As far as the Cloud is concerned, offers will always be under Scheduler control if scheduled events for them exist in the Cloud.
