What is saved and when

What is saved and when

 

1. The following operations in the designer are saved when the user clicks 'OK' on the creation dialog:

 

- Create Set Menu

 

- Copy Set Menu

 

- Copy PLU (right hand side of the designer)

 

- Copy PLU (left hand side of designer)

 

2. The following operations in the designer are saved when the user clicks the 'Save' button on any of the 3 'Course Set Menu' screens:

 

- Remove. In the tree view, if a PLU or Set Menu is removed from a Course Set Menu.

 

- Add Selected Set Menu. A Set Menu in the 'Set Menu Selector' is added to a Course Set Menu.

 

- Add Selected PLUs. PLUs are ticked on the right side of the designer and added to an existing Set Menu.

 

- The Name, Price, Department, Parameter, Tax Code 1 and Colour fields on the first Course Set Menu screen.

 

- The alternative 'Course Set Menu'  and its Price on the third Course Set Menu screen.

 

- The decision on whether to 'Synchronize details in all branches' by checking the checkbox on the third Course Set Menu screen.

 

If the user clicks 'Cancel' on any of the screens, any unsaved changes to the above list of items will not be saved.

 

When a new Course Set Menu is being created, 'Save' and 'Cancel' buttons are not available in the main designer screen. They are only available when you edit an existing Course Set Menu.

 

The user may use the 'Next>>' and '<<Back' buttons to move between the three screens in Course Set Menu but changes are not saved by performing either of these actions.
