Standard Set Menu

The 'Type' choices for Standard Set Menu are as follows:

Fixed

One item

Select items

1. Fixed. This is used when Set Menus are used within Set Menus and the customer is led through a series of choices. For example, you might attach such a Set Menu to 'Sirloin Steak' and it may contain Set Menus that offer cooking instructions, vegetable and sauce choices:

2. Select one item. This is used where there really is only one choice that needs to be made from a list. For example, how should a steak be cooked, or which vegetable option the customer would like when the offer is only one choice.

3. Select items. This option allows a customer to choose more than one item from the list. The 'Min' and 'Max' values must be specified. This option is used if, for example, two vegetables can be chosen to go with a meal. It might also be used for items like Pizza where several toppings can be chosen.
