Price Shift Additional Offset

This feature enables you to set up a price shift that only kicks in at certain times and works as an offset of the currently active price shift level.

Consider this example:

1. You have Normal prices and Happy Hour prices.

2. Normal prices for 'Pint' and 'Half' are set up. Pint is in the 'Price' field and 'Half' is set up in the 'Price2' field.

3. Set up a price shift button on the V-R that shifts the price to 'Price2'. The operator uses this at normal times to sell a 'Half'.

4. Set the Happy Hour prices for 'Pint' and 'Half' in 'Price3' and 'Price4' respectively.

5. Set up the Scheduler to add an offset of 2 to price shifts between 6pm and 7pm.

When the Scheduler kicks in, the normal prices are automatically shifted to 'Price3' (Price + 2). When the price shift button is pressed (which is programmed to move to 'Price2'), the offset feature adds 2 to this and the price moves to 'Price4' which is the correct Happy Hour price for a 'Half'.

For PLUs that do not have Happy Hour prices, be sure to set the appropriate price shift levels to the normal price so that they are still correct when the price shift and offset are active.

This screen shows turning ON of the offset pricing. You would need to set up a companion scheduler event to turn the offset OFF. The 'End Retry Time' is the amount of time the Scheduler will attempt to apply this scheduled change; it is NOT the end time of the offer.
