The Import Export module is used to import data to the cloud from a CSV format and to export the data out in a CSV format. It works by running a local piece of software from any PC connected to the internet. It uses a Web service to connect to the cloud and then places the data in a folder on a local or mapped drive. Once the program is running it will confirm the customer it is connected to, and the destination folder of the exported data.
Note: - The Sales file is very detailed and has to be used in conjunction with the Casio documentation for the sales file.
1)The current module scans an import folder every minute and will then import data files automatically. The name of the file and location is defined in the configuration file.
2)When imported the file will be backed up to a dated folder with a copy of the processed file.
3)To export the data on a timer set the current date and time, the program will then run until the program is shut down.
4)An export can be performed immediately by pressing the 'Export Data' button. All data will be based on the date selected on the screen.
Pressing the 'Change Transfer Time' button allows you to change the time the export of data will occur. You must tick the confirmation box to change the time.
